Norse mythology in 10 questions

Norse mythology is the body of beliefs and legends of the Germanic and Scandinavian peoples. It describes nine worlds connected by the cosmic tree Yggdrasil, populated by gods, giants, dwarves and extraordinary creatures. These stories were passed down orally before being written down in the 13th century in Icelandic texts known as the Eddas.

This quiz covers the major gods (Odin, Thor, Loki, Freyr), iconic creatures (Fenrir, Jörmungandr), mythical locations (Asgard, Valhalla) and the great events of this cosmology, including Ragnarok, the final battle that marks the end and rebirth of the world.
