Pi: the number that never repeats and never stops

Pi (π) is the constant ratio of a circle\'s circumference to its diameter: approximately 3.14159265358979... and then infinitely more, without ever repeating. Mathematicians have been chasing its digits for 4,000 years, from Archimedes in ancient Syracuse to Google\'s 100 trillion digits in 2022. Pi is irrational (never repeating) and transcendental (impossible to express as any algebraic equation with integer coefficients).

Pi Day is celebrated on 14 March (3/14 in American date format), which also happens to be Albert Einstein\'s birthday. The classic English mnemonic "How I wish I could calculate pi" encodes the first seven digits: count the letters in each word and you get 3.1415926. This quiz goes well beyond that.
